Terms and Conditions
Orders
You may place an order with KJ Wedding Decorations by telephone, e-mail, via our website, by post or in person.
We will then inform you of the availability of the products for hire or purchase and will state the total cost of the order, including any additional design costs.
The contract is formed between us when we confirm in writing that your order has been accepted. We reserve the right to withdraw our acceptance of your order if the products requested are not readily available to us and to refund in full any payment you have made.
We have two product categories; hire and purchase. We have a minimum order value of £40.00 for all of our hire products. Our minimum order value for purchase only products - favours, placecards/holders and confetti cones - is £20.00. If you are hiring and purchasing products only one of the categories must meet the minimum order value.
Hire Charges
Our hire charges and all other additional charges will be as shown in the order quote and/or on our website. The order quote or confirmation or invoice will also show the date the fee is due and the period of the hire.
All products should be in clean condition and returned to us in the original condition supplied (without damage).
You agree to reimburse us for all costs in for repair or replacement of products not returned in good working condition and will be liable for charges equal to the hire charge (as shown in the order quote) for the period of such repair or replacement.
We reserve the right to impose additional charges at the daily rate for the period in which any product is not available for use by our other customers because of your breach of these terms and conditions.
Where we have taken a deposit we may retain the whole or part of this in order to set against any liability you have to us in relation to the hire of the products.
Payment
Orders totalling less than £100.00 must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure the order.
Orders of £100.00 or more require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure the order. If the required collection date is within 4 weeks of placing your order the full contract price is required at the time of order. This deposit is NON REFUNDABLE.
The balance of the contract price (including any additional costs) is due for payment 4 weeks prior to the goods being collected.
If the balance payment is not received we reserve the right to withdraw our acceptance of your order. No collection can be made without receipt of the balance.
If you wish to hold your hired goods for longer than the contracted period please contact us in advance to discuss terms and conditions.
No refunds or credits will be issued for any goods that are returned unused.
All prices quoted on the website include VAT.
We accept payment by cash, Paypal or BACS transfer.
Card payments may be subject to a 3% transaction fee.
Refundable Deposit
A refundable deposit must also be provided with the balance payment 4 weeks prior to the collection of the goods. The sum of money is dependant upon the value of the goods being supplied and is held as a deposit against the safe and prompt return of the goods under hire.
The replacement cost of all losses and damages will be deducted from the refundable deposit. Substitute items will not be accepted and all damaged goods remain the property of KJ Wedding Decorations and should therefore be returned.
Cancellation and Charges
If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your order you should telephone 07703 984236 in the first instance. All cancellations, or reductions in numbers of items to be hired, must then be confirmed in writing and will only become effective on receipt of your cancellation email or letter.
You will incur a cancellation charge based upon the value of the balance owing. This amount is dependant upon the length of notice we receive from you i.e.
Ownership
All goods remain the property of KJ Wedding Decorations, 2 Pinewood Close, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP2 9HZ and at no time shall title pass to you unless otherwise agreed.
Collection
We offer a collection only service. All products are available for collection from our premises, by prior arrangement, up to two days before your wedding.
You will be required to inspect and sign for the goods at the time of collection. Any person, other than the hirer, who signs a collection note, is deemed to be authorised to do so. Any discrepancies to the order must be notified within 24 hours of the delivery. Any discrepancies that are not notified during this period will be exempt from any credit/refund.
Please be aware that the goods remain your responsibility until they have been returned to KJ Wedding Decorations. You should therefore make every effort to ensure the goods are kept dry and retained in a secure place until this time. Goods that are not returned will be charged at the price quoted in your contract.
Hired products must be returned in their original packaging and packed in accordance with the guidelines supplied; failure to do so may result in breakages and therefore charges against your deposit. Goods not returned at the agreed date and time (24 hours after your wedding day) will incur an additional charge of 25% of the listed hire price, per item, per day.
Damage to Products
Products in your care shall remain your responsibility at all times. Where goods are returned badly mildewed, stained or damaged in any way, we have the right to charge you the replacement cost or treatment charge and add this to your invoice or deduct the amount from your deposit. Details of these charges are available upon request and will be included in your contract.
Vintage Crockery
Due to the age of our crockery, some of the patterns and gilt edges are no longer 100% perfect. We cannot guarantee specific colours/patterns or particular items but we will always do our best to accommodate your colour preferences.
Vintage Crockery (which includes all cake stands, glassware, tea cups, tea saucers, teapots, plates, bowls, jugs and cutlery) is for display use only and cannot be hired to serve or consume food or beverages in/with.
Liabilities
In no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the invoice value of the contract.
We shall not be liable for situations of force majeure where any failure in the performance of any of our obligations is caused by factors outside our control.
We shall not be responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property arising from the use of any goods under hire.
Copyright
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos and, images, is the property of KJ Wedding Decorations, its owner and/or its suppliers and partners. You acknowledge that all copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in and relating to www.kjweddingdecorations.weebly.com or its contents are vested in KJ Wedding Decorations and/or its suppliers or our partners where appropriate. You must not use, reproduce, modify or distribute our images or any part of those images in any manner, whatsoever.

- Cancellations made more than 4 weeks prior to the date of delivery will be exempt from a cancellation charge (Note: your 50% deposit is NON REFUNDABLE but no charge will be levied against the balance owing).
- Cancellation made less than 4 weeks prior to the date of delivery will be charged at 75% of the balance owing on the total contract price.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the delivery date will be charged 100% of the balance owing on the contract price.
Ownership
